My pepeha art

My pepeha Art In Te Maunga we drew our pepeha art. We started with drawing at the back page in our books. It took a couple of days but then we finally got to the main drawing. It took about 2 days to finish the drawing. Then we moved on to the colouring. When we finished, we had to write a whakatauki.

swimming

In Te Maunga we went swimming. We had to monkey climb around the pool. My favourite part of swimming was having free play. I challenged myself by staying in the pool for as long as I could even though the pool was very cold.

protecting the fish

Protecting the fish On March 24th we had visitors at Paihia school whose names were Shirley and Jayden. We learnt how to measure fish properly. My favourite part of the visit was standing in a line and giving buckets to each other. I challenged myself by trying to figure out how wide and tall the fish and shells are.

The sweet auction

The sweet auction In Te Maunga we had an easter auction. We all had a piece of paper that said the amount of money we had. We learnt that you need to do very hard work to get more money. My favourite part was when I realised I had six thousand dollars. Next time I think I am not going to spend that much money.

The blog about sugar

The blog about sugar In Te Maunga we had a big lesson about food. We learnt how much sugar you are having when you are having a fizzy drink. My favourite part was going to the supermarket and finding vegetables that are different colours. Next time I am going to find more colourful fruits.

Sea activities

Sea activities that will blow your mind In Te Maunga we did some sea creature activities. I learnt that if you draw a fish and paint over it and around it it may not show. My favourite part was putting your hand on some paint and then using your hand to make patterns on a piece of paper. Next time I think I am going to draw a bigger fish or else it will not show.

tv series stats

Tv Series Stats In Te Maunga we did something called stats investigation. Me and Aisake cut out pieces of paper and asked people to write their favourite series down on a piece of paper. We learnt about ways to make stats in our book like writing down the options of your question and cutting out pieces of paper and making people write their choice down. Next time I am going to ask more people in the class so I get more results. It was about tv shows. In first place was Cobra Kai and second was Stranger Things.
